Statement

My avatar symbolizes my keyword, captivate, and what my studies at CCT are tailored for. The ability to captivate audiences with an idea is valuable – it’s how one garners buy-in as a call to action. The arrow roadway depicts the lifecycle of an idea, a person coming up with an innovative idea followed by a depiction sharing it amongst others in a way to create advocators of change. The middle three pieces demonstrate influencers sharing one’s idea. The next piece portrays the web of interconnectedness between people intrigued. The final piece shows people coming together to iterate the idea, thus the life cycle repeating. This relates to my interest in captivating audiences and garnering ownership in causes that serve the greater good. Avatar was created with a laser cutter, very sturdy arrow roadway base with slots made for vertical pieces to fit – opportunity within reapplying glue for tenaciousness.
